Mid North Women’s Aid and Refuge

Mid North Women’s Aid and Refuge (MNWAR) are a non-profit organisation that work alongside vulnerable women and children throughout Te Tai Tokerau (Northland) supporting them to be free from all forms of violence. MNWAR provides a service to the entire Mid North Region. Our boundary begins at Waipoua Forest, Hokianga through to Kaeo and the Towai area and we cover all areas in between. We are a small and passionate team of 7, blended with past and new kaimahi (workers) striving to serve the needs of people within our communities.
